I'll be there

I’ll be there

through time and space that divide us

I’ll be there

through every negative or plus

I’ll be there

for late-night dreams that seem so real

I’ll be there

when you need a refuge for wounds to heal

I’ll be there

when you reach a limit and things get rough

I’ll be there

when you think you’re not good enough

I’ll be there

to take you back in, get you back on your feet

I’ll be there

hanging back while you march to your own beat

I’ll be there

letting you try even if you will fail

I’ll be there

freeing the ropes while the wind fills your sail

I’ll be there

looking up as you fly free

I’ll be there

loving without measure whatever you will be.

Autism, Lupron, the Geiers, and what can science do about emotions?

I've posted at length about the Geier-Lupron-autism nexus at my Biology Files blog in the context of how people like the Geiers and Andrew Wakefield can hold so much appeal and how scientists might take some empathy cues from their successes. You can read that post here.
